Affiliate program terms

These terms apply to anyone who joins the baz affiliate program. They sit alongside our Terms of Service. By joining you agree to both.

1. Joining

Any baz account holder can join. There is no approval step. Your existing referral code becomes your affiliate link when you join, and you can leave at any time by emailing jack@baz.studio.

2. Commission

  • You earn 25% of the net amount a referred customer pays (after discounts, before tax) on personal balance top-ups and personal subscriptions (new plans, renewals and upgrades).
  • Commission applies to payments made within 12 months of the day the customer’s account was linked to your code. Annual and other prepaid plans earn commission on the full amount paid up front.
  • Team plans, automatic top-ups, API charges and one-off template or pack purchases do not earn commission.
  • A customer counts as your referral only if they sign up through your link (or enter your code) within 7 days of creating their account and before their first payment. Each customer belongs to one referrer.

3. Your audience’s offer

Customers who join through your link get 30% off their first top-up or subscription payment if they check out within 3 hours of their account being linked to your code, and $5 of baz credit after a first payment of $20 or more. You earn commission on the discounted amount they actually pay.

4. Holds, refunds and payouts

  • Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment, then becomes payable.
  • If a payment is refunded (in full or in part) or disputed, the commission on that payment is cancelled, including when a dispute is later resolved in our favour. If it was already paid out, the amount is deducted from your next payout.
  • We pay out monthly, at the start of each month, by PayPal or Wise to the email you provide, once your payable balance is $20 or more. Smaller balances roll over. You are responsible for any taxes on your earnings.

5. How you may promote baz

  • Organic promotion is welcome: videos, posts, newsletters, courses, communities.
  • No paid advertising that sends traffic to your link.
  • No bidding on “baz”, “baz.studio”, “Bazaar” or similar terms in search ads.
  • No posting your link to coupon, deal or cashback sites.
  • No self-referrals, fake accounts, or referring accounts you control. Payments made with a card saved on your own account, or a card already used by another of your referrals, don’t earn commission.
  • Don’t present yourself as baz or make claims about baz we don’t make.

6. Suspension and changes

We may suspend an affiliate account, and cancel commission connected to it, if these terms are broken. Suspension stops new referrals and new commission; legitimately earned, payable commission is still paid. We may change these terms for new commission with 30 days’ notice by email; commission already earned keeps the terms it was earned under.
